# Steps and tabs

Numbered procedures, and tabs for alternatives such as package managers.

## Steps

Use steps for anything the reader does in order. Each step can hold text, code and callouts.

1. **Install**

   ```bash
   pnpm add some-package
   ```

2. **Configure**

   Add the options you need.

3. **Verify**

   > **SUCCESS**
   >
   > The command prints the version number.

## Tabs

Use tabs when the same step has alternatives. Readers pick one and ignore the rest.
